Rovers lost a number of players over the summer including star men Joe Cardle and John Baird who moved to Ross County and Queen of the South respectively.

Striker Greig Spence also moved on, joining Championship rivals Alloa while a number of other squad players were allowed to leave the club including Gordon Smith, Fraser Mullen, Billy Vidler, Reece Donaldson, and Jamie Watson.

Raith boss Grant Murray has replaced the departing players with eight new signings.

Striker Christian Nade has joined from Dundee, while he will be joined by another former Dundee striker Mark Stewart, who has snapped up from Derry City.

Murray has also added to his midfield options with another signing from Dundee in the shape of Dumbarton born winger Ryan Conroy while in the centre of midfield Murray has signed former Hibs and Livingston man Martin Scott.

Rovers’ defence is also set to take on a new look this season with central defenders Ross Perry and Craig Barr joining from Rangers and Airdrie while full back Rory McKeown has signed from Kilmarnock and experienced goalkeeper Kevin Cuthbert joins after leaving Hamilton Accies.
