WEST Dunbartonshire Council (WDC) raised a glass to several volunteers as a tribute to their work developing sports programmes for the area"s children.
The sports development unit of the council held the event at Balloch Castle on Friday.
There was a light buffet, followed by the presentation of certificates to some deserving volunteer sports workers.
Outdoor fun and games and games then followed.
The council wanted to recognise the work done by volunteers in recent months and to show their support for sports development.
Pamela Dewar, club and coach development co-ordinator for WDC, said: 'The event was a great success with many of our volunteers recognized for their hard work and dedication to promoting sport in the community.
'West Dunbartonshire Council Sports Development Unit hugely values our volunteers, as it allows the community to develop in its own right.'
