DUMBARTON Accies held their special annual golf day at the Golf Lounge in Glasgow on Sunday August 2.
Four teams of five players lead by Iain Howieson, Gary Easdale, Gavin Gilchrist and Martyn O'Neil competed at the 'Old Course in St Andrews'.
The eventual winners were captained by Gary Easdale and Ian Howieson, whose teams were tied on an impressive nine-under par, securing the winners' cheque.
Prize for 'oddest couple of the day' went to Gary Easdale and Alan Ferguson, who had set the club house lead until Iain Howieson's impressive approach shot to eight feet at the 18th ensured there was a tie.
A pool tournament, longest drive and closest to the pin competitions ensued and an enjoyable day was had by all.
The Accies Committee would like to pass its thanks go to the Golf Lounge for accommodating the squad, all who turned up on the day, and to Gavin Gilchrist for co-ordinating.
