DUMBARTON Accies were in seventh heaven as they progressed to the fourth round of the Scottish Amateur cup against Ayrshire outfit Dailly.

Thornton and McHard both produced hat-tricks while Docherty rounded off the rout to see them comfortably through to the next stage of the competition.

Manager Iain Howieson said: "I am happy to progress to the next round and the clean sheet is also pleasing."
