RUNNERS have just a few days left to pledge their support to the country's veterans by signing up for the Vale of Leven Polaroid 10k.

Erskine is appealing to runners of all abilities to run this year's race being held on Sunday June 10, leaving from Loch Lomond Shores in Balloch at 10am.

However, Vale of Leven supporters of Erskine only have until the deadline of Wednesday 6th June to sign up to take part.

Alan Moss, Erskine fundraiser, said: "The Vale of Leven Polaroid 10k event is for runners of all abilities and is a great opportunity for runners to challenge themselves.

"Time is running out to join this year's Polaroid race, so please give us a call today and help us to raise vital funds for the ex-Service men and women in our care. Your support is vital because we must raise £144,000 each week to continue to provide the high standard care our brave veterans so richly deserve."

Erskine will support all fundraisers every step of the way when they sign up to join Team Erskine.

Entrants will be provided with an Erskine t-shirt and information pack with all the details needed to take part.

Erskine has five care homes across Scotland caring for over 1,300 veterans every year.

For a free running pack, please call 0141 814 4555 or email team@erskine.org.uk
