The Millburn Park side suffered over the festive period with injuries, their depleted squad slipped to two losses at home to St Roch’s and Forth, putting a big dent in their promotion hopes.

But with key men back Hamill insists his side are a match for Cambuslang.

He said: “Brian Wardle should be back available, James Crowhurst is fit and Paul Nugent should be back although it’s probably a bit too early for Lee McGeachy.

“We are certainly better off than we have been for players over the recent weeks. We’ve struggled for consistency in selection and performance, we haven’t really got a run going.

“I think there is six games left so we have to try our hardest and see where we end up.” Hamill looks set to strengthen his squad further with the addition of former Benburb defender Chris Jackson.

He said: “Chris has been training with us for the last couple of weeks so we are hoping to get that fixed up. He has moved to the area, he’s a right sided defender so he will strengthen that position for us.”
