VALE of Leven Juniors first team had no game at the weekend (April 25/26) due to Millburn hosting the semi-final of the Scottish Junior Cup between Clydebank and Pollok.

Unfortunately, Vale"s battle against relegation got tougher as rivals Lesmahagow won once again and Yoker Athletic also picked up a point.

This week Vale were due to face promotion contenders Cambuslang last night (Monday) and on Saturday they are away to Cumbernauld United.

Vales U21"s won their league fixture away to Thorniewood 5-4 with goals from Nicki McGeachie (2) and a Craig Cowan hat-trick. This week, the boys will face Kilmarnock Balmoral at Millburn, kick off 2pm.
