ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH ALDENHAM 68

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Aldenham 68, from Watling Street to The Avenue, for an approximate distance of 80 metres. Alternative route: via Watling Street, The Drive, Beech Avenue and The Avenue.
The purpose of the Order is to enable bridge examination works to take place. The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 3rd March 2020 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. Works are expected to take place on Tues 3rd Mar 2020 between 08.00 and 15.00hrs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH ALDENHAM 6
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Aldenham 6, from Rendlesham Avenue to Loom Lane, for an approximate distance of 130 metres. Alternative route: via Rendlesham Avenue, Gills Hill Lane and Loom Lane.
The purpose of the Order is to enable surfacing works to take place. The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 2nd March 2020 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. Works are expected to take 2 weeks to complete.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HARTHALL LANE, BULLS GREEN) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Harthall Lane, Bulls Green from a point in line with the western boundary of No.19 Harthall Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 75m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Harthall Lane, Primrose Hill, Toms Lane, High Street, Church Hill, Bedmond Road and Harthall Lane. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 18 March 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BEDFORD STREET, WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bedford Street, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 50m (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because the installation of new utility mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 2 March 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (VICARAGE ROAD, WATFORD) (WATFORD FOOTBALL STADIUM MATCH DAY AND EVENTS) (PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC EXCEPT PERMIT HOLDERS) ORDER 2019
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce a replacement of The Hertfordshire (Vicarage Road, Watford) (Watford Football Stadium Match Day and Sporting Events) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 2007.
The general effect of this Order will be to permit Traffic Management Operatives to be used to control vehicular access instead of Police and take account of changes to Watford Football Club Stadium use, with the move of Saracens RFC.
The proposals as set out in the Schedule to this Notice will not have any effect on the current accessibility permitted during the closure of Vicarage Road for Football Matches or events. The Order will come into effect on Saturday 29 February 2020.
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order may be inspected from 28 February 2020 to 10 April 2020 during normal office hours, at the offices of Watford Borough Council, Customer Service Centre, Town Hall, Watford and at Main Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford, or may be viewed online at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/trafficorders by selecting Watford and looking at Ref: W01017. Enquiries relating to the Order should be referred to the TRO Officer concerned Kate Batcock tel: 01992 658238 or kate.batcock@hertfordshire.gov.uk Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
SCHEDULE: Prohibition of Traffic (including Motor Vehicles and Pedal Cycles being ridden) Except Permit Holders – effecting that section of road listed below and as set out in the Order and accompanying plan – Vicarage Road, Watford, between Fearnley Street and Harwoods Road. Permit Holders are any persons who are resident of an address listed below and who are the holder of a parking permit issued by Watford Borough Council for Watford Controlled Parking Zones – Zone K Vicarage Road property numbers – 91 to 129 inclusive odds 32 to 58A inclusive evens Aynho Street all properties Oxford Street all properties Souldern Street all properties Banbury Street all properties AND any person issued with a permit/identification sticker by Watford Football Club for the purpose of access to Vicarage Road Stadium on Match Days.
