ScotRail has revealed plans to spend £88,500 of Scottish Government funds in upgrading facilities at all eight stations across the area as part of a £3 million national investment programme.
New customer help points will be installed at each station meaning customers can request information and assistance from ScotRail on a secure direct line.
Dalreoch station will also receive new passenger information screens which will provide passengers with live information regarding the arrival and departure of services.
The funding, identified within existing Scottish Government budgets, will see upgraded facilities, including improved car parks, platform shelters and new ticket vending machines at stations across the network, including those serving the Commonwealth Games.
