There has been a serious road accident on the A811 close to Alexandria leading towards Gartocharn.
The crash involved a car and a lorry.
The 21 year-old man driving the car has been airlifted to the old Southern General University Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Two men aged 53 and 54 who were in the lorry were uninjured in the crash which took place around 8am.
According to Police Scotland the A811 Stirling Road was closed for four hours and reopened around 4pm.
