Police officers snared 11 people in a campaign targeting speeding drivers at primary schools in Dumbarton and the Vale.
In line with Police Scotland’s commitment to improving road safety and influencing driver behaviour to make roads safer for our communities, community officers in Dumbarton and Alexandria have recently taken part in a week of action at vulnerable locations.
These included schools, nurseries and sheltered accomodation, as well as the main trunk roads and arterial routes.
Amongst the offfences detected were 11 drivers charged with speeding in the 20mph limit near to local primary schools.
