SPECSAVERS Dumbarton has completed renovations, upgrading its premises to offer customers the most professional service.

The store on High Street invested £175,000 in refurbishing to give it a more modern look with the most up-to-date eyecarae and retail technology.

The relaunch took place on Saturday, October 1, with Glasgow Warriors players Tim Swinson and Zander Fagerson there to cut the ribbon, declaring the new store officially open.

Store director Robin Mitchell said: "We are thrilled that the store is now open. The refurbishment had been a long time in the planning and it’s great to see the new store up and running. We’ve had some fantastic feedback from customers already.

"We have had a presence in Dumbarton for a number of years and this investment represents our long term commitment to continue delivering great service to all our existing and new customers."

The new layout includes a remodelled frame display areas, creating a more pleasant experience for customers, and a dedicated contact lens department. The staff are also preparing for the launch of the store's hearcare service, coming later this year.

Robin added: "The new look store will help us to continue to provide a comprehensive service, using all the latest advancements in eyecare technology, to our customers – and to build on our already strong customer base.

"When launched, our hearcare department will provide customers with thorough hearing assessments, advice and information on all aspects of hearing. They will be able to try out the wide range of aids available and access expert aftercare service."
