THE death of a man found in Rosshead is still being treated as unexplained – three weeks after the body was discovered.

Police were called to Halkett Crescent in Rosshead on Thursday October 5 following the discovery of a body of a man at around 9.30am.

The identity of the man was revealed as 47-year-old Raymond Baxter.

However, over three weeks on from the discovery of the body and following a post mortem examination, mystery still surrounds the circumstances of the death with police still treating it as unexplained with enquires ongoing.

Officers had been investigating the last known movements of Mr Baxter, who lived in a neighbouring street, and were appealing to anyone who was in the area on the Thursday morning.

Anyone who was in the area of Halkett Crescent on Thursday morning, or anyone with information that may assist the police investigation, should contact detectives at Clydebank Police Office through 101 quoting reference number 0708 of October 5.
