Dumbarton People’s Theatre’s latest production opens in the Denny Civic Theatre this week.
Dangerous Corner is the first play by J.B Priestley, the author best known for penning An Inspector Calls.
It is set in 1932 and tells the tale of a group of people assembled in a country house and their struggle with a death, lies infatuation and jealousy.
Janette Burns, from DPT, said: “It is a gripping story and one that promises to hold the audiences’ attention until the final curtain.
“People will enjoy it. It’s a really good story with an experienced cast and beautiful scenery. There will even be a grand piano and the outfits and decor will really transport you to that period.
“It will be a nice, rewarding night at the theatre.”
The show will run from Wednesday, February 28 till Saturday, March 3.
The curtain goes up at 7.30pm and doors are open at 7pm.
There will be a bar open during the run of shows with refreshments and snacks available.
Tickets are at £5 and are available from McDermid’s Keystore, DPT Members, at the box office or by emailing dumbartonpeoples theatre@outlook.com.
