The school morning rush was made all the easier for parents of kids at Bonhill Primary School as the children got to wear their pyjamas for the day - all in aid of raising donations for a good cause.
The P2 and P3 pupils were the masterminds behind the event on June 15, coming up with the event to support West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare.
The whole school, plus the teachers, delighted in donning their comfy sleepwear for the school day - and remained wide awake when it came to organising donations for the local charity, which supports individuals and families in need with food parcels.
Food cans, non-perishable foods and health care products were all gifted from the children to the charity as they raised awareness about they work they do.
The pyjama day came after a busy week of school shows for the children, which included the musical extravaganza Seussical the Musical. The dress down day was certainly a more casual sartorial occassion following the incredible stage costumes.
A spokesperson for Bonhill Primary School said: "The children loved coming to school in their pyjamas and it was a really fun day.
"Following on from this successful event we plan on holding similar events in the future."
