Gin lovers and boating fanatics alike can enjoy an afternoon filled with tipple tasting and history lessons on board a Sweeney's Cruise Co vessel this weekend.

The Stirling Gin Masterclass will set sail from the Bonnie Banks on Sunday August 12 at 2pm and involve an afternoon of gin based frivolities and gorgeous Loch Lomond cruising

Teaming up with Stirling Gin, the cruise company's flagship Silver Dolphin vessel will provide guests with a host of scenic views while they enjoy a presentation of the gin experts' perfect serve, a Bloody Scotland cocktail and two samples of their upcoming liqueurs from their Folklore Collection.

On top of this, the juniper-based tasting will be paired with a selection of carefully crafted canapés for a real foodie treat.

And the founders of Stirling Gin, June and Cameron McCann, will be on deck to take visitors through the history of their gin and provide the latest information on the nation’s favourite spirit.

Guest who want to taste another gin or two can even treat themselves at the fully stocked bar on the top deck of the boat.

Tickets for the event cost £45 per person and can be purchased at: https://www.sweeneyscruiseco.com/cruises/stirling-gin-masterclass/
