Two Dumbarton police officers ventured to Glasgow last week to help out with the recent European Championships, attracting two young admirers along the way.
PCs Melvin and Marsland, were helping out at the city-wide multi-sport event when they caught the attention of spectators Daniel and Isla, who were there to cheer on competitors in the time trial cycling event.
Daniel took a keen interest in PC Marsland’s ‘hand gloves’ and asked to try them on.
After a few confused looks, it turned out Daniel was referring to his ‘handcuffs’, and not the woolly kind PC Marsland was about to pull from his pocket.
