Pet lovers who want to ensure the long-term health of their beloved animals have the opportunity to attend a first aid course in Dumbarton.
Billed as a canine first aid class, the workshop is actually open to anybody who has pets, or runs pet businesses, such as dog walkers.
The class will be delivered by David Fitzcharles, one of Scotland’s first official pet first aid instructors.
He has been teaching this course for more than three years, and has developed a lot of experience working with a wide-range of pet owners.
The class utilises the latest pet CPR manikins, plus other training aids, making the course more fun and easy to learn, rather than practicing first aid on real pets, who may find the experience stressful.
As part of the attendance fee, participants will receive a student pet first aid book, and access to a library of pet first aid videos, to help keep skills up to date, plus an internationally recognised qualification in pet first aid which is valid for three years.
The class will take place at the Benview Centre in Dumbarton on Wednesday, August 29, from 7-9.30pm.
Entry costs £40. To book a place, visit www.procourses.co.uk/classrooms/91093-canine-first-aid-dumbarton.
