A MAN who repeatedly made threats to neighbours and refused to adhere to a court banning order has been admonished by a sheriff.
Craig Edwards, 44, of Heather Avenue, Alexandria, committed two offences on August 30, 2017.
Dumbarton Sheriff Court heard on Friday how Edwards, at a house in Ben Bouie Drive, Helensburgh, was shouting, swearing, screaming and making offensive remarks towards neighbours, putting a couple in a state of fear and alarm. He committed the same offence again on the same day.
After his arrest, Edwards was given a bail order on August 31 banning him from contacting or approaching the neighbours. He broke that on September 13 and repeatedly shouted comments towards them.
But he has been meeting court requirements since.
Defence lawyer Gail Campbell said: “It is a very full report. Things seem to be getting much better.”
Sheriff John Hamilton told Edwards: “The penny seems to have dropped. You are admonished.”
