A SHERIFF told a man his breaches of court orders were “blatant, flagrant and unbelievable”.
Stephen McGlashan, 23, breached a bail order imposed on him at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on July 13, 2018.
The court heard last week how McGlashan had been banned from entering Halkett Crescent, Jamestown, but on September 3 went into a flat there, without reasonable excuse.
Defence lawyer Kenny Clark said his client, who was listed as having no fixed abode in court papers, was keen for the matter to be dealt with.
He said: “He has been living a nomadic existence for a while and has been in custody since September 4. He is under no illusion that he faces a custodial sentence.”
Sheriff Maxwell Hendry told McGlashan: “The end of the road has been reached. Your breaches were blatant, flagrant and unbelievable.”
McGlashan was jailed for 12 months, backdated to September 4.
