TRAIN services between Balloch and Dumbarton have been suspended after part of the railway track was found to have broken.
Services were suspended at around 11am on Friday after the track defect was reported near Balloch station..
Trains on the Airdrie-Balloch route are starting from, and terminating at, Dumbarton Central.
ScotRail has organised a bus shuttle to operate between Dumbarton Central and Balloch, calling at Dalreoch, Renton and Alexandria and departing as close to train times as possible.
The company said on Twitter that Network Rail Scotland engineers were beginning to replace the broken rail.
Disruption is expected until around 2pm.
