A LUXURIOUS hotel on Loch Lomondside has been nominated for a top business prize in the Scottish Rural Awards.
The Inn on Loch Lomond, in Inverbeg, has been put forward for the rural hospitality category which recognises high-quality accommodation, dining and leisure provision.
Described as “the ultimate benchmark of excellence in rural Scotland”, the awards are now in their fifth year and the 2019 ceremony will be held in Edinburgh next March, with businesses competing in 12 different categories.
Announcing their nomination, the Inn said in a social media post: “We are excited to be informed that The Inn on Loch Lomond has been nominated for the 2019 Scottish Rural Awards for the Rural Hospitality category.
“We appreciate all the local support and thank all of our staff for their hard work and dedication to the community.”
The Inn first opened in 1814 and was given a modern refurbishment in 2008.
Last year’s awards also had local representation in the form of Luss Estates, who were finalists in the ‘business diversification’ category.
