A THIEF who nicked beauty products from the Boots store in Dumbarton town centre has been allowed to leave court with the legal equivalent of a slap on the wrists as a punishment.
Sharon Hutcheson, 43, of McColl Avenue in Alexandria, stole the items from the High Street store on March 23.
Hutcheson's solicitor, Lauren Kerr, told Dumbarton Sheriff Court last Wednesday: "Sentence was deferred on her in May of this year for her to be of good behaviour, and she has been.
"I would ask that the court draws a line under this offence."
Hutcheson was admonished by Sheriff Simon Pender.
