MEMBERS of the 1st Vale of Leven Boys’ Brigade Company braved the cold recently on their annual weekend trip to Glencoe.
They were joined by boys and officers from the 3rd Bearsden Company for their activity weekend, based in the Glencoe Ski Club Lodge at Bridge of Orchy.
In the course of the weekend the boys completed a 10-mile section of the West Highland Way – gaining important navigating skills in the process, as well as a respect for winter weather conditions in the snow-topped Scottish hills.
