The whole school enjoyed taking part in this year’s Nativity at St Martin’s RC Primary School in Renton.
Pupils in P1, P2 and P3 pupils played all the characters and their classmates in P4-7 performed the narration and songs.
The children sang Clip Clop, Knock, Knock, Knock, Warming Our Toes, An Angel Appeared In The Sky, Three Kings Were Riding, Baby Sleeping, Jesus Is Born and Thanking You, and followed that with a rousing rendition of Jingle Bells in a sing-along with parents, carers and family members at the end.
as well as some more traditional tunes such as ‘Jingle Bells for a sing-along with parents at the end.
Joanne McKenna, depute head teacher of St Martin’s Primary School, told the Reporter: “The show was well supported by the parents and they all seemed to really enjoy the performance.
“The children thoroughly enjoyed telling the story of Christmas through their own acting and narration.
“They worked very hard and we are all proud of them.
“This show was very entertaining and a fantastic achievement.”
