A shop at Loch Lomond Shores has reached the finals of a prestigious competition for retailers.

Loch Lomond News is hoping to scoop a top prize at the NFRN Awards.

The annual event is organised by the Federation of Independent Retailers (NFRN), and will see the store up against competition from top retailers from across the UK in the ‘Collectible Product Retailer of the Year’ category.

Andy Howell, owner of the store told the Reporter: “We are really pleased to reach the finals and, hopefully, have a good chance of winning given the huge array of collectibles we stock.

"Our range of collectibles really comes from the local demand for these and we’re delighted that simply looking after our customers well has led to us being in contention for this award.”

The finals will be held on Tuesday, February 12 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.

Audrey Calder, of Loch Lomond Shores, added: "Best of luck to Andy and his staff."
