A MAN has pleaded guilty to driving dangerously on the A82 while almost four times the legal drink limit.

Michael Bennett, of Westray Street, Glasgow, admitted to driving at excessive speed and causing a vehicle to take evasive action while on the A82 at Milton on June 11, 2018.

The 31-year-old also confessed to having 78mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath when the limit is 22mg. He was on bail from Glasgow Sheriff Court at the time.

Not guilty pleas were accepted by the Crown to charges of driving without a licence and without insurance.

At Dumbarton Sheriff Court on January 30, Sheriff John Hamilton deferred sentence to March 1 and disqualified Bennett in the interim.
