The couple in wedding photos found on a pen drive dropped at Loch Lomond Shores have been traced.

Busker Rosie Green discovered the blue memory stick in the grey box she uses to collect coins when she sings outside Jenners at the visitor attraction.

Following our appeal, the couple have now been named as Fiona and James Jenkinson who more than 55 miles away in Armadale in West Lothian.

Bride Fiona told the Reporter the couple were shocked to hear that the file containing 80 photos of her special day had turned up so far from home.

The 30-year-old said: "As soon as it went on the internet my friend Lynne contacted me. Lynne and her husband Gordon used to live just outside Dumbarton, but her mum lives in the town, so I think that's why they saw the post (on Facebook).

"I woke up in the morning to about six or seven different strangers tagging me in it as well, because they thought it was me, which was nice.

"How it ended up there (is surprising). James was bit in shock as well. We just couldn’t believe it obviously because it was a bit further away, it's about an hour away from us.

"It was nice that Rosie tried to find us."

Although Rosie only discovered the pen drive recently, she believes it may have been dropped in during the festive period.

Fiona is not sure, however, which of the 100 guests at the wedding and reception just outside of Peebles last July, the pen drive belongs to.

She added: "I don't think it was ours, I think it was one of our guests at the wedding because our memory stick had about 500 photos. I'm not sure whose it is, but will probably know when I see the photos.

"It was a perfect, fantastic day. All pictures are important and memories of the day."

Rosie, who lives in Bonhill and is sending the pen drive to Fiona and James, said she was glad the couple had been found so quickly.

The 17-year-old told the Reporter: "I thought it would be someone really local. It's great they have found the people. It was super quick, but I was expecting it to take a lot longer."
