A charity is urging people in Dumbarton and the Vale to join them for "the ultimate team day out" at Balloch Castle Country Park.
Bobath, which offers advice, help and support to children and adults living with cerebral palsy, is bringing its Scotland Dragon Boats event to the park on June 1.
Teams of up to 12 people will take to their boat and race along the bonny banks of Loch Lomond for the coveted prize of fastest team.
The charity said: "Absolutely no experience is needed - just the will to get stuck in and have some fun.
"Each team will have at least three races during the qualifying rounds, before the two fastest teams of the day battle it out in the exciting grand final.
"If you are looking for something completely different, an event where no experience is needed and one where all your friends and colleagues can come along, then the Bobath Dragon Boat Race is the event for you.
"If you are prepared to compromise on aerodynamics, teams can dress to impress on the day. We predict wacky wigs, pirate costumes, sailor hats and Hawaiian leis to be trending in 2019.
"It will be the ultimate team day out."
