Police are appealing for information after a car was damaged in Bonhill.

The incident happened this afternoon (March 6) following an alleged argument.

Sergeant Brian Simpson from Dumbarton Police Office told the Reporter: "A female at 1.15pm was driving from Lomondgate roundabout to Bonhill.

"She stopped her vehicle at Redburn and the person who was following her got out, a young boy, and there was an alleged argument about the manner of her driving.

"As a result, he proceeded to damage her vehicle and made off. The woman did not sustain any injuries."

The suspect is described as 5ft 5, with dark hair, dark clothing and stubble. His car is described as a white Peugeot 208-type vehicle.
