The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning as Storm Gareth gears up to batter West Dunbartonshire with strong winds.
The warning is in place from 12pm today (March 12) until 3pm tomorrow (March 13) with strong west to northwesterly winds expected.
Some bus and train services may be affected by the weather, with some journeys taking longer.
Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges is also said to be likely
While some short term loss of power and other services is possible across Strathclyde.
It's likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities will be affected by spray and/or large waves.

A Met Office statement said: "A spell of strong west to northwesterly winds is expected to develop across the Hebrides on Tuesday afternoon, then southwest Scotland late on Tuesday evening, before extending across much of England and Wales through Wednesday.
"Gusts of up to 50-55 mph are likely inland and 65 mph along western coasts.
"Winds will gradually ease during Wednesday afternoon."
