On Tuesday, March 24, 2009 we reported that...
IT was fun, fun, fun at Highdykes Primary as pupils and staff did their bit for Comic Relief.
Plenty was going on at the school and the kids had a great time with their non-uniform day.
They also raised valuable funds by hosting a book fair and selling red noses.
All the children had a fantastic day raising almost £300.

Deputy head teacher Lindsey Thomas was quick to praise them saying: “The children really took to the cause and came to the school dressed in red.
“They had a great day and were very attentive while watching a video about the plight in Africa.
"All in all it was a fantastic day.”
