A VALE thug who punched the walls of a house in Renton in an angry outburst which left his partner and another man fearful and alarmed has been told to carry out unpaid work as a punishment.
David McCulloch, 29, of Mharie Place, Bonhill, lost the rag at the house in Renton’s MacBride Way on January 20, pushing furniture around, damaging property and pushing the man, and refused to leave the property when asked to do so.
He appeared for sentencing at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Friday after pleading guilty at an earlier hearing to a charge of threatening or abusive behaviour.
He was also told to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work within six months, a sentence reduced from 120 hours because of his guilty plea.
