Alexandria community police officers worked with other emergency services last week to assist two walkers in difficulty in Argyll.
PCs Watson and Glover were deployed during the incident as Police Scotland Mountain Rescue Team members along with Arrochar MRT and HM Coastguard.
The walkers were stuck on the famous Cobbler mountain, which is near the head of Loch Long, at around 900m on steep ground in poor conditions.

After a great display of flying from the crew of the helicopter, the walkers were winched to safety from the very narrow gully then taken to MRT vehicles to be taken back to the Arrochar MRT base.
A police Scotland spokesperson said: “A good reminder that although it may be heading from spring the mountain tops are still in winter conditions.”
