Emergency gas repair works in Dumbarton are expected to continue for the rest of this week and throughout the weekend.
SGN are carrying out the works on the A814/Greenhead Road/Castlegreen Street and four-way temporary traffic lights are being operated in the area.
The temporary lights are being controlled manually in order to reduce congestion.

A council spokesperson said: "We are working closely with them to ensure this is resolved as soon as possible.
"Where possible we will re-programme other planned works to mitigate the effect of these emergency works."
