A search has been launched for a family to star in a film showcasing Loch Lomond Shores.

The visitor attraction at Balloch is looking for a family with two or three children who think they’ve got what it takes to feature in the film.

Two days of filming will take place in May as part of a campaign to raise awareness of the many things the site offers visitors to the area.

Audrey Calder from Loch Lomond Shores says: "From shopping to kayaking on one of Scotland’s most iconic lochs, we really want to highlight that we’re a fantastic day out for families visiting Loch Lomond and what better way to do this than visually in a short film.

“Rather than have actors come and play the part of the family, we’d really like a local family to be the stars of the film to give it authenticity and make it more of a community project.”

The successful family will receive an annual free family pass to The Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre as well as a family handling experience.

They will also enjoy a session at Treezone, choose an activity with Loch Lomond Leisure and receive a family day ticket for Loch Lomond Sealife Aquarium as well as a meal at Georgio’s Pizza Pizza.

Lastly, there’s also a night’s accommodation at Knock Castle in Crieff for the parents.

The film will be used on social media, the Loch Lomond Shores website and potentially part of an advertising campaign for the site.

If you’d like to apply, send a recent family photograph to info@lochlomondshores.com no later than Wednesday May 15.
