THE sun and the crowds came out last weekend to raise money for the needy animals at Milton Animal Home.
The SSPCA’s annual Gala Day raised more than £1,700 for the charity which runs the Milton centre, which was saved from closure last year.

Manager Joe McDade said: “It went fantastically well — we had a great turnout.
“The money will go to the running of the SSPCA and that will filter down to us as well.”
