A Dumbarton woman and ten of her colleagues lent a helping hand in the garden at Robin House this week.

Amanda Lunan works for PwC and the visit on May 13 was part of One Firm One Day, a volunteering initiative run every year by the company.

Together the group weeded and tidied the garden at the Balloch children's hospice in preparation for the summer.

Kenny Wilson, Glasgow office senior partner told the Reporter: "PwC has built a close relationship with CHAS so when the opportunity came to volunteer at Robin House, we had a huge response from staff.

"Thankfully the team who worked in the garden were blessed with a warm, sunny day, and they were able to dig deep and carry out heavy weeding duties to help prepare Robin House for the summer.

"The work that CHAS do is incredibly important and Robin House is a fantastic facility for families who require support and a place for reflection."

Megan Stobo, corporate partnership executive at CHAS added: “We’re delighted that PwC has chosen to support CHAS this week as part of their One Firm One Day initiative and want to thank them for all of their hard work, dedication and passion."
