The Denny Tank Museum is hosting a free pop up science weekend this month.
Visitors are invited to discover their inner scientist or engineer at the event on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26 from 10am to 4pm.
There will be the opportunity to test your own wind turbine designs, discover steam engineering in action, use pedal power to move water and enjoys lots of other hands on activities and challenges.
Read more: Balloch pupils enjoys hands-on learning at Maritime MuseumA selection of partner organisations will be attending to lead activities, including National Museums Scotland, the National Museum of Flight, Industrial Museums Scotland/ National Mining Museum Scotland, Peachy Keen Human Energy, Aerospace Kinross, RSPB, University of the West of Scotland and Historic Environment Scotland.
There will also be free entry to the museum throughout the weekend and visitors will have the chance explore the new Engage, Experiment, Engineer gallery, ‘Style at Sea’ exhibition charting the golden era of ocean liners and join a free guided tour of the vast Denny Tank.
