AN ALEXANDRIA teen left a student with a broken jaw after pouncing on her as she left college.
Shona Lindsay punched the 17-year-old victim in May last year.
Jurors at Glasgow Sheriff Court heard today (Wednesday) heard the pair had never met prior to the incident outside Glasgow's Anniesland College.
But, it was claimed a classmate of the victim had stolen cash from 18 year-old Lindsay.
The girl who was attacked told jurors: "I was feeling nervous as I didn’t know what was going to happen.
“She sucker punched me in the face. That’s what she wanted to do.”
Other students managed to step in to help the girl.
The victim suffered a broken jaw and also lost a tooth.
Lindsay was convicted of assaulting the girl to her severe injury.
Sheriff Alan Mackenzie deferred sentencing for reports until next month.
