A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs.
Acting on a sheriff search warrant, police officers searched a property on Argyll Avenue in Dumbarton.
The officers discovered what is suspected to be a quantity of heroin.
A 40-year-old was arrested at the address as a result of the find.
West Dunbartonshire community policing inspector Mo Boyle said: “We are committed to keeping people safe and will act on information provided to us.
"Drugs cause untold misery in our communities and we will continue to work with local people and our partners to identify those involved in their supply and bring them to justice.”
