A MAN has been remanded in custody after being charged with allegedly assaulting a woman.
Craig McKinnon, whose general address is given as Dumbarton in court papers, appeared at the town's Sheriff Court on Friday.
The 30-year-old made no plea at the hearing, as he answered two assault charges, one charge of assault to injury and a further one of assault to severe injury.
He was also charged with two counts of threatening behaviour and another charge of resisting, obstructing or hindering the work of emergency services.
Mckinnon was arrested on Thursday, following the incident on Ardoch Crescent in Brucehill.
He was remanded in custody for further examination, and is due to appear in court again within eight days.
