An Alexandria rugby club has been named a ‘Star Club’ and received £1,000 from a nationwide sports programme.
Loch Lomond Rugby Club was awarded the funding by RugbyForce Initiative, a project set up by the Royal Bank of Scotland.
The club plans to put the money towards encouraging children of all ages to get involved in the sport by hosting demonstration games.
