TWO women have been arrested in connection with an alleged housebreaking in Alexandria.
Police were called to the property, on Craig Avenue, at around 6pm on Saturday.
The pair, aged 34 and 29, were taken into custody in connection with the break-in.
PC Griffiths, of the Safer Summer Task Force, said:"Crimes of dishonesty continue to be a priority for police in West Dunbartonshire. We are committed to tackling issues of local concern and to working with communities to make West Dunbartonshire a safer place.
“I would encourage residents and businesses to regularly review their security, to visit the Police Scotland website for the latest crime prevention advice or to call their local Crime Prevention Officer for specific advice."
