Pupils taking part in a school business programme will now be able to gain an official qualification from the project.
Young Enterprise Scotland’s (YES) flagship Company Programme now sits at a Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework Partnership Level 6 - the same level as a Scottish Higher.
Designed for S5 and S6 pupils, the course involves teams developing and running a company over the academic year in competition with other groups across Scotland.
Click here for all the latest news in Dumbarton and the ValeThe accreditation, which follows a jointly funded collaboration between YES, Scottish Government, SCQFP and Glasgow Kelvin College, will ensure that pupils’ hard work is more recognisable to future education providers and employees.
