A TRIO of maths whizzes from Christie Park are celebrating after scooping awards at The Scottish Mathematical Council’s competition for Primary 7 children.
The challenge is a problem solving competition which runs annually, and this year proud pupils Alex Laing and Murray Chapple both won a silver award, while Heather Hunter received bronze.
The delighted pupils told the Reporter: “We were very excited to receive our awards and proud of our achievement.
“It was a very difficult competition and we had to work very hard but it was worth it.”
