A WILD walk session designed for kids is set to return at Levengrove Park.
Designed for children aged five to 12, Walk on the Wild Side has already run two fun-filled sessions this summer, and is coming back for its third.
This iteration of the event will look at foraging for food.
Youngsters will be taught how to gather nettles, sticky willies and dandelions, as well as learning how to prepare the plants for eating and their nutritional value.
Run in conjunction with Lodestone Creative, parents are reminded that the sessions are set to go ahead regardless of the weather conditions, and kids should be dressed appropriately for the conditions.
Parents and guardians will also be required to stay with their children throughout the session.
To take part, meet at the keeper’s house at the park at 1pm on July 24.
