Around 1,500 to 1,800 people descended on Levengrove Park recently to enjoy some gala day fun.

The free event, organised by West Dunbartonshire Council’s Greenspace service, had rides for children, pony rides, lawn games, crazy golf, art activities, sports, face painting, a children’s entertainer, a DJ, ice cream and more.

A spokeswoman for the council said: “We were delighted to welcome everybody to another successful gala day in Levengrove Park. The event was very well attended and it was so nice to see the park full of people, young and old, all enjoying the surroundings, including our new Pavillion Café.

"Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a success, with a special thanks to all the local businesses who entertained our visitors.”
