Dumbarton and District MS Group were delighted to receive a cheque for nearly £500 recently thanks to fundraising by local bowlers.
Patrick Burns, the organisation's health and safety officer and his wife Karen were invited by the Alexandria and District Bowling Association to accept the donation of £470 for the group.
The money was raised from a charity game involving four local clubs - Balloch, Renton, Bonhill and Christie Park.
This is an annual event where funds raised are donated to local charities.
This year the Association chose Dumbarton and District MS Group in the knowledge the money will be spent locally on the ongoing running costs for the groups drop-in and outings.
