A LUXURY train is set to come to Dumbarton.
The Northern Belle, described as the British version of the iconic Orient Express, is set to take passengers on two lunch trips of the West Highlands on August 17 and 18.
With tickets available to take part in the journeys, residents of Dumbarton and the Vale are invited to take part in the seven-course lunch, which will be complemented by roving musicians, and a few glasses of bubbly.
Jeanette Snape, the managing director of the Northern Belle, also said people are welcome to view the train as it is undertaking the eight-hour round trip, but advised spectators to take care near the railway lines.
The train will leave Dumbarton Central at 10am on each day, before returning at 6pm.
